* "to change a pavement" signifie "changer un trottoir", alors qu'il faudrait dire "changer de trottoir", qui se traduit, par exemple par "to move to the other side of the street"

* Au lieu de "if he it in a scale against a wall it is not going to prevent me from pasing next size down", qui est une bouillie assez incompréhensible, dire "if there is a ladder leaning against a wall, I shall not be afraid of passing underneath". Une "scale" est une balance pour se peser.

* Au lieu de "I was not seven years old of misfortune", dire "I did not have seven years of misfortune".

* Au lieu de "I believe all the same", dire "I believe nontheless". "Tout de même" peut aussi se traduire par "anyway", mais pas par "all the same", qui veut dire "ils sont tous, les mêmes".

* Je complète la fin avec "in the possibility of the positive or negative power from some rare occurences of events, like when I find a four-leaf clover, which might bring me happiness, or like when we are 13 people around a table, which might bring some bad news"

* La dernière phrase n'est pas mal, sauf qu'on pourait remplacer "to be" par "being".
