The Darboux Problem

Bonjour! Dans le cadre de ma fin de licence de physique, je passe un semestre aux etats unis. J'ai une matiere sur les equations aux derivees partielles, et je suis bloque sur l'exo suivant que je dois rendre mercredi:

"Solve the Darboux problem:

utt ;) uxx = 0, t > max {;)x, x} , t >= 0,

u(x, t) =f(t), x=t, t>=0
u(x,t) = g(t), x=-t, t>=0

avec f et g qui appartiennent a C^2 ([0, infini[) et satisfont f(0)=g(0)

Hints:
(i) Sketching the domain in which you are supposed to solve the problem might be helpful;
(ii) Recall the form of the general solution of utt ;) uxx = 0."
