Bonjour,
J'ai un commentaire d'image à faire, et je l'ai fais, et j'aimerais que l'on me corrige les fautes (pas toutes, mais au moins les plus grossières svp).
Voici mon oeuvre :
The document we have to stdy is a front page from the newspaper "Newsweek". The date of the publication was the August 9, 1993. The headline is "Keep out !". The expression refers to the problem of the immigration in the US.
We can see the statue of Liberty who is submerged by many boats. The boats invade the US. Only the torch of the statue is saved. The torch signifies enlightenment.
The statue, aslo known as "Lady Liberty", has been a symbol of a freedom, democracy and it welcomes arriving immigrants. But, "now, Americans are joining the backlash against immigration", depending on Newsweek.
The boats embody the mass of immigrants who "invade" the US. And the statue of Liberty signifies that the Americans were fed up to immigration. Now, America can't received, accepted the immigrants.
Expected the torch who embodies the hope, the Americans don't want again immigrants. The country is saturated.
Againts to the problem, I think the elements are well chosen. Because the statue is the symbol represented of the US.
Voilà, pouvez vous me corriger les erreurs svp. Et si vous pouviez me donner votre avis sur ma conclusion qui n'est pas terrible, sa serait sympa.
Je vous en remercie par avance.
