Does Matlab has a way to back calcualte (solve) this equation in function in of X?

I want to solve the below equation in function of x,

TAN(a)= ( (-x sin(b)+x TAN(c) cos(a))/( (x cos(b)+x TAN(c)sin(b)) cos (a)+sqrt[(d^2)-

(x^2)-(x TAN(c))^2 )] sin(a) ).
does Matlab has a way to back calcualte (solve) this equation in function in of X?

i have the value of a,b,c and d (are known) the unknown is x..but i want to find the x=f(a,b,c,d) in other (how does x change with a,b,c,d).
because handy is too much difficult :doh: !!
