1. There are still lots of places his parents haven't visted. (not visit)
OK

2. This is the first time Japan has qualified for the cup. (qualify)
OK

3. Mavis and Arthur had met at a dance when she had been eighteen. (meet/be)
FAUX ET FAUX

4. Where has he gone ? He's late! (he-go)
OK

5. She had received his last letter fifteen years ago.(receive)
FAUX

6. At least sixty firms have gone bankrupt in the last two months. (go)
OK

7. She has had long hair ever since she has been a little girl. (have/be)
OK ET FAUX

8. The family had moved to Preston in 1992 when the father had founed a new job there. (move/find)
FAUX ET FAUX

9. She told her friend she has suffred from a leg injury and she has been cured by a doctor. (suffer/be cured)
FAUX ET FAUX

10. He has waited and waited, but, by June, he still hasn't received any news. (wait/wait/not received)
FAUX ET FAUX. Mais problème ici: je ne vois rien d'autre que du prétérit pour la première forme et du past perfect pour la seconde.

11. The lawyer have known his father has always thought HE would be successful. (know/always think)
FAUX (+ l'accord) ET FAUX. Je commence à me demander s'il n'y a pas une erreur dans la consigne car la phrase correcte serait ici "The lawyer knew his father had always thought he would be successful", c'est à dire avec du past perfect pour la seconde forme.

12. He had visited America for the first time when he had been five. (visit/be)
FAUX ET FAUX.

13. They were tidying the attic when they had come across an antique brooch. (come across)
FAUX

14. It was obvious that she has forgotten everything about it. (forget)
FAUX. Il y a bel et bien une erreur dans la consigne car la forme correcte est "had forgotten", au past perfect.

15. -"Do you know why she was so famous?" -"She has been the first welsh woman to swim across the Channel." (be)
FAUX

16. The elderly lady looked at all the things she and her husband had collected with such passion over the years. (collect)
OK
